Special Materials Specialties

These SSI specialties related to equipment group together a number of courses designed for divers who want to push their limits and work with specific gear and techniques. Think of diving with different configurations, procedures, and equipment associated with special environments, tasks, or responsibilities underwater.

All these specialties have in common that they start with a confined water session, allowing you to practice with the new equipment in a controlled manner. Most of these specialties require a higher minimum age.
