Klein Curaçao Escape

Escape from it all for a day and enjoy sun, sea, and relaxation on the sheltered west side of Klein Curaçao. This trip is all about relaxing on a tropical island — with the option of a beautiful yet laid-back dive.

In collaboration with Mermaid Boat Trips, we depart early in the morning (06:30) from the Spanish Water. As the sun rises, we head out to the open sea, coffee or tea in hand, with a chance to spot flying fish alongside the boat.

After about two hours, Klein Curaçao appears on the horizon: powder-white beaches, turquoise water, and a fully equipped beach house on the tranquil west side of the island. Here, we start the day with an extensive breakfast — no rush, no crowds.

Around 10:00 am, the divers get ready for their first dive. With a dinghy, we are taken to the dive site for an impressive drift dive along a steep wall that drops to great depths. Afterwards, you are comfortably picked up by the boat.

Then it’s time for what really makes this trip special: relaxation. Around noon, a barbecue lunch is served and the rest of the day is yours to fill as you wish. Snorkeling, sunbathing, walking to the iconic lighthouse, or exploring shipwrecks on the island — everything is possible, nothing is required.

Later in the afternoon, there is an optional second dive on the southwest side of the island (around 2:00 pm), where sea turtles are regularly spotted 🐢. Still, we advise many guests to stick to just one dive and truly enjoy the rest of the day on the island.

Around 3:20 pm, we sail back towards Curaçao and by 5:00 pm we are back in the harbor — relaxed, sun-kissed, and with a memorable island day to look back on.

For this trip, you need at least an Open Water certification.
