Do you want to go beyond standard depths and explore impressive deep dive sites? With the SSI Deep Diving Specialty, you will learn everything you need to dive safely, in a controlled manner, and with confidence to a depth of 40 meters.

During this specialty, you will combine theory with open water dives. You will learn how to carefully plan deep dives, how depth affects your body and equipment, and how to effectively use dive computers and gas consumption calculations. This way, you get the most out of your deep dives without compromising on safety or comfort.

Deep diving opens the door to spectacular locations: wrecks, steep walls, and unique underwater formations that remain out of reach for untrained divers. This specialty helps you make those dives consciously, relaxed, and well-prepared.

Upon completion, you will receive the SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification, which counts towards the free recognition ratings Specialty Diver, Advanced Specialty Diver, and Master Diver. In addition, this specialty is a requirement for various continuing education courses, making it a logical and valuable next step in your diving education.
