We start the day on the stunning beach of Cas Abou. Just arriving here feels like stepping into a postcard: powder-white sand, crystal-clear water, and an impressive, expansive reef right off the coast. This is where we make our first dive.
Cas Abou is known as the first major reef after Porto Mari and is loved by both beginner and experienced divers. The variety is enormous: from colorful reef fish to bigger surprises like an eagle ray or even a seahorse—neither is uncommon at this site.
For the second dive, we move to Playa Piscado, a small and authentic fishermen’s beach famous for its large number of sea turtles. They often swim literally all around you. We’ll first take our time to observe these special animals, after which we’ll swim on to the reef. Here you’ll find, among other things, impressively large, mushroom-shaped coral. It’s no wonder this dive is often mentioned as one of the most beautiful dives in Curaçao.
