Package 5: Curaçao Shore Diving Safari

This package is perfect for divers who want to experience the famous shore dives of Curaçao. We do twenty shore dives at various locations around the island, from the tranquil house reefs to the spectacular dive sites of Westpunt.

Curaçao is known worldwide as one of the best destinations for shore diving. Most of the reef is accessible directly from the shore, allowing you to discover a huge variety of dive sites without being dependent on boats.

In this comprehensive program, we explore different regions of the island: from the tranquil house reefs around Porto Mari to the spectacular reefs of Westpunt and the unique dive sites around Willemstad.

We start and end at the house reef of Porto Mari, so you can get to know the reef at your own pace and enjoy this special place one more time at the end of your diving holiday.

The program below is an example of what a diving holiday in Curaçao can look like. Depending on weather conditions, experience, and personal preferences, we always adjust the program in consultation.

Program

Day 1:           2 dives at Porto Mari

Day 2:           2 dives at Playa Kalki (Alice in Wonderland) and Playa Forti

Day 3:           2 dives at Superior Producer and Double Reef

Day 4:           2 dives at Director’s Bay and Turtle City (La Palapa)

Day 5:           3 dives, at Kokomo and Snake Bay during the day, night dive at Porto Mari

Day 6:           Rest day

Day 7:           2 dives at San Juan: Shon Mosa and Playa Largu

Day 8:           2 dives at Kleine Knip and Grote Knip, at Westpunt

Day 9:           2 dives: afternoon dive at Snake Bay and night dive at Fisherman’s Wharf

Day 10:        2 dives at Playa Lagun and Playa Hundu

Day 11:        1 final relaxed dive at Porto Mari, possibly a drift dive from Daaibooi or Playa Hunku

Price is based on

• 20 guided shore dives
• 2 days on our house reef
• 8 shore dive trip days

We tailor the exact program to weather conditions, logistics, and your experience. The program can be upgraded with, for example, night dives or even a boat dive, and can also be expanded with extra dives.

Not included

• entrance fees at some beaches
• rental of diving equipment (full diving equipment can be rented from us at a reduced rate of / 40 XCG per day).

This dive program can easily be combined with an SSI Advanced Open Water course or one or more SSI specialty courses. Since you will already be making different types of dives during this trip, many specialty dives can be integrated directly into the program. For example:

For guests who book this package, we offer these courses at a reduced rate of only / 100 XCG per specialty on top of the package price. This way, you can not only make beautiful dives during your diving holiday, but also learn new skills and earn extra certifications.
