Jorden | SSI Divemaster
Jorden comes from Friesland and has been fascinated by the underwater world from a young age. During his divemaster internship at Porto Mari Sports, he quickly grew into a skilled dive guide with a passion for biodiversity and conservation.
Hi, I’m Jorden, 21 years old and born in Friesland. From a young age, I have been fascinated by the underwater world. When I was eight, I went door to door to collect money for coral protection through the World Wildlife Fund, of which I was a member at the time. That’s when the seed for my passion was planted.
What interests me most now is the biodiversity underwater. I’m fascinated by how all life is perfectly attuned to each other and together forms a unique ecosystem. From that passion, a second one has emerged: showing others how beautiful the underwater world is.
During my divemaster internship at Porto Mari Dive Center, I was able to further deepen my passion and gain valuable practical experience in guiding divers and working in a professional diving environment.
