Thomas is a seasonal dive instructor at Porto Mari Dive Center, combines life between the Caribbean and the Pyrenees, and speaks fluent Spanish in addition to Dutch and English.
Ola! I am Thomas, one of the seasonal staff members at Porto Mari Dive Center. My life takes place between the Caribbean and the Pyrenees, with a mandatory stopover in the Netherlands along the way.
I am not only a dive instructor, but also a ski instructor in Andorra, the tiny country in the Pyrenees between France and Spain. As a half Chilean, I speak fluent Spanish in addition to Dutch and English.
Underwater, I have a special bond with turtles—or maybe it’s the other way around, because anyone who dives with me is almost guaranteed to encounter them. Normally, you can find me on Curaçao during the summer months from June to September, but this year I’ve traded my skis for fins and am spending the entire winter on Curaçao.
