Floor discovered her passion for diving during an internship in Rhodes. She then came to Porto Mari Dive Center for the long divemaster internship and now enthusiastically guides guests on the house reef and beyond.

Hi, I'm Floor and I'm from the south of the Netherlands.

I studied Sports & Exercise and discovered my passion for diving during my internship on the Greek island of Rhodes. There, I earned my Open Water, Advanced, and Rescue Diver certifications while gaining plenty of hands-on experience. That left me wanting more. Since my uncle Geert is part of the Porto Mari Dive Center team, choosing Curaçao for my next internship was an easy decision.

At Porto Mari Dive Center, I took the next step in my diving career. With lots of enthusiasm, dedication, and a willingness to learn, I earned my SSI Divemaster certification in record time. Today, I'm proud to be part of the team, guiding our guests both on our beautiful house reef and during boat dives.

What I love most about diving is that no two dives are ever the same. Every dive brings something new to discover, and I enjoy sharing those special moments with our guests.

When I'm not diving, I enjoy playing padel and hockey and staying active. Thanks to my family ties with Geert and Danniek, Curaçao quickly felt like a second home.
